Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages learning, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that meets health and safety standards.
- Provide support for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Proficient in literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including children with disabilities or special needs.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Previous experience in daycare settings or private school environments is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of independent decision-making.
