We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level finishes.
- Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete pours, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to schematics and blueprints.
- Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures, following precise specifications.
- Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute concrete placements accurately.
- Perform related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and tile laying as needed for renovation or restoration projects.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a solid understanding of construction site procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of rebar installation, formwork setup, plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, and tile laying is highly desirable.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites.
- Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards and site-specific protocols.
