Pet Sitter/Walker/Admin

Woofie’s of Kansas City-North has an opening for a Pet Sitter/Walker/Admin who will care for clients’ dogs, cats, and small animals and assist with administrative tasks as needed

Responsibilities:

·         Feed and refresh water, cleaning dishes as necessary

·         Give medications when necessary

• Give exercise to the pet through walking, backyard play, and indoor play as needed 

·         Cleaning cat litter boxes and changing litter as necessary

• Communicate with client via our app to share information from each visit  
• Communicate with back-office team members as necessary  

·         Pet sitters who perform visits at a client’s home will perform multiple visits per day for the duration of a client’s trip

• Overnight sitters will stay from 8pm to 7am at a client’s home

·         Assist with marketing and administrative tasks when needed.

·         Eligible for our Pet Spa Bather training program

Qualifications:

• Applicants should be capable of walking, exercising, and handling multiple types of pets
• Experience with pets is required, and training is provided
• Customer service experience is a plus
• This job operates in clients’ homes and outdoors; necessary equipment includes a reliable vehicle and a smartphone
• Reliable transportation & a valid driver's license.
• Must pass background check & drug screening

Position is Part-Time and hours vary depending on the needs of the client.

The pay schedule is based on the event. Additional “administrative” hourly pay will be available to help disperse marketing materials and attend events. Pay range average: $16-$22/hr.
