Woofie’s of North Fort Worth is seeking responsible animal lovers to provide our premium Bed & Biscuit boarding services by caring for dogs in your own home while their owners are away.

This is an excellent opportunity for retirees, retired military personnel, stay-at-home parents, remote workers, veterinary professionals, experienced pet owners, and independent pet sitters looking to earn supplemental income while spending time with dogs.

If you currently provide pet care through Rover, Wag, or similar platforms, this is a great opportunity to enjoy the flexibility you value while receiving full operational support, recurring clients, and the backing of an established local business.

Most of our team members work part-time and choose their own availability.

What You’ll Do

As a Pet Boarding Host, you’ll provide Woofie’s Bed & Biscuit boarding services by welcoming dogs into your home and caring for them as if they were your own.

Our goal is simple: provide a safe, comfortable, loving environment where pets can feel at home while their families are away.

Responsibilities include:

· Providing daily care, supervision, and companionship

· Feeding pets according to owner instructions

· Administering medications when needed

· Monitoring behavior, health, and well-being

· Providing exercise, enrichment, and playtime

· Communicating updates and photos to pet parents

· Maintaining a clean, safe, pet-friendly environment

· Following Woofie’s care standards and client instructions

· Promptly communicating concerns or changes in a pet’s condition

Ideal Candidates

We’re looking for trustworthy individuals who:

· Have experience caring for dogs

· Live within our service territory (Keller, Haslet, North Fort Worth, Alliance, Saginaw, Watauga, or surrounding areas)

· Are highly responsive and communicate promptly with both clients and our office team

· Have a clean, safe, pet-friendly home

· Have reliable transportation

· Enjoy working independently

· Are comfortable caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments

· Can provide exceptional customer service

· Are comfortable making good decisions while caring for pets independently

· Are looking to build long-term relationships with pets and their families

Preferred Qualifications:

· Previous pet sitting, boarding, rescue, veterinary, kennel, grooming, or animal care experience

· Fenced yard

· Experience administering medications

· Experience caring for senior pets or pets with special needs

· Former or current Rover or Wag sitter

· Retired military, veterinary professional, teacher, nurse, or other service-oriented professional

Requirements

· Must be at least 21 years old

· Must live within our service territory

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Must pass a background check

· Must provide professional and/or personal references

· Must have reliable transportation

· Must have reliable cell phone and internet access

· Must be comfortable sending updates, photos, and communicating with clients

Holiday Availability

Availability during major travel holidays is strongly preferred. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and other holiday periods are among our busiest times and when pets need us most.
