Sales Associate - Part time - Evenings and Weekends

The person we will hire must have the following abilities:

Love talking to people in person or on the phone. Has energy and a smile all day all the time when at work. Can multitask effectively and displays calm energy even on “ruff” days. We are looking for a person who takes initiative, asks questions, and completes tasks diligently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
• Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Scheduling appointments with customers, confirming appointments and assisting the groomers in checkin
• Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grooming/pet retail industry is preferred and has an added advantage
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations
• Experience in customer service roles with strong communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
