Woof is a fast-paced, fast-growing local grooming salon dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and stress-free experience for every dog in our care. We’re expanding and looking for a motivated Dog Bather to join our team and grow with us!
Position Summary
As a Dog Bather at Woof, you’ll play a key role in prepping dogs for grooming through bathing, drying, brushing, and coat maintenance. This position is ideal for someone who loves dogs, thrives in a busy environment, and enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Bathe and dry dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Brush, de-shed, and detangle coats
- Clean ears and trim nails (training provided if needed)
- Identify skin issues, fleas/ticks, or coat abnormalities and report to groomers
- Keep bathing and grooming areas clean and organized
- Handle pets safely, patiently, and compassionately
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients
Requirements
- Previous experience with dogs is a plus but not required—training provided
- Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a wet, high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Genuine love for animals
