Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming SouthPark is looking for a personable, dependable team player to lead our “pack” in day to day operations! The ideal candidate will have great compassion for animals and customers alike, excellent organizational and communication skills, and can effectively prioritize. Someone who works well in a fast-paced environment but also strategically uses down-time is preferred.
Woof Gang Bakery is a leader in brick and mortar specialty pet stores providing the very best in pet care. We are a neighborhood pet store offering gourmet dog treats, healthy pet foods, pet supplies, accessories, full-service grooming and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide consistent, quality customer service by developing exceptional personal relationships with current and prospective clients
- Communicate effectively with other team members, management, clients and vendors
- Ensure store policies and protocols are performed accurately and consistently
- Answer phones, schedule grooming appointments, and check out customers
- Assist management in staffing, including training new employees, scheduling, etc.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels, place and unpack orders
- Lead staff in driving store initiatives and maximizing sales
- Cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits
- Protect the Woof Gang brand message and philosophy by maintaining a professional and personal appearance
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
- A strong commitment to customer service
- A genuine love of dogs
- Goal oriented, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, coworkers and customers
- Knowledge of dog breeds, nutrition and general pet supplies
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
- Managerial experience preferred

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
