Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Dog Groomer to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will deliver professional grooming services with compassion and skill, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of expertise in pet styling, handling, and care, while fostering positive relationships with pet owners. Duties
- Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Handle animals with care and patience, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area to uphold hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions
- Assist with pet handling tasks such as animal restraint and pet nail trimming to ensure safe grooming sessions
- Support pet care routines including animal restraint, pet sitting when necessary, and basic health observations
- Engage in ongoing training related to pet coat styling techniques, animal handling, and customer service excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in dog grooming with a strong portfolio of pet styling work
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles enhances understanding of animal health needs
- Expertise in animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet nail trimming
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger animals or equipment
- Strong customer service orientation with a caring attitude towards pets and their guardians

Pay: $20.29 - $29.25 per hour
