Woody's Outpost is a locally owned convenience store with a welcoming, down-home Upper Peninsula atmosphere. We take pride in providing friendly service, quality products, great food, and a clean, inviting place for locals and travelers alike.
We're looking for two dependable, friendly, and hardworking people to join our team. If you enjoy working with customers, staying busy, and being part of a small team where everyone pitches in, we'd like to meet you!
What You'll Do
Customer Service & Register Operations
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Assist customers with purchases and answer questions about products.
- Follow store policies for age-restricted purchases, including alcohol and tobacco.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously.
Stocking & Store Maintenance
- Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise displays.
- Keep products organized, properly priced, and readily available.
- Monitor product expiration dates and rotate inventory.
- Maintain clean, organized aisles, counters, restrooms, and work areas.
- Assist with deliveries and putting away merchandise.
Deli & Food Service
- Help prepare sandwiches, deli items, and other freshly prepared foods.
- Assist with serving customers and packaging food orders.
- Keep deli counters, equipment, and food preparation areas clean and sanitized.
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Help restock deli supplies and food products.

- Basic math skills and attention to detail.

- Retail, convenience store, restaurant, or deli experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
