About the role
At WoodWing, we’re building a scalable cloud platform that powers content creation and digital asset management for customers worldwide. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you take ownership of building, running and operating our cloud environment. From Kubernetes to CI/CD and automation, you ensure our platform is reliable, scalable, and continuously improving.
You’ll work across the full cloud stack, from infrastructure and deployment pipelines to observability, while collaborating closely with product (Studio and Assets) developers.
The core of the current technology stack is built within AWS. Besides that, we use multiple languages, libraries and tools within our platform, as long as it helps us achieve our goals. We expect you to pick up new things quickly and to strengthen the team with your own experience and ideas.
You will need to achieve a good balance between attention to detail, creating fast feedback loops and quality.
What you’ll be doing
Build and operate a highly available cloud platform on AWS
Design and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, or similar)
Run and improve Kubernetes-based environments and container workloads
Develop and maintain CI/CD and GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Helm)
Monitor and optimize the platform using observability tools (e.g., Grafana)
Automate infrastructure and operational processes wherever possible
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
Contribute to continuous improvement of performance, security, and cost efficiency
Participate in an on-call rotation
What we’re looking for
3–5 years of experience in cloud, platform, or DevOps engineering
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience with CI/CD, automation, and GitOps practices
Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
Strong problem-solving skills and production troubleshooting experience
Strong communication skills
