Position Overview
Woodway Country Club, a distinguished private club in Darien, Connecticut, is seeking a refined and experienced Dining Room Supervisor to support and oversee daily dining operations. This leadership role is integral to upholding the club’s longstanding tradition of exceptional service, professionalism, and personalized member hospitality.
The Dining Room Supervisor will demonstrate strong leadership presence, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience for our membership and their guests.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct daily dining room operations to ensure flawless service execution
- Lead and inspire front-of-house staff in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism
- Conduct pre-service briefings emphasizing service excellence, menu knowledge, and member engagement
- Foster meaningful relationships with members, anticipating preferences and enhancing the overall dining experience
- Address member inquiries and concerns with discretion, diplomacy, and urgency
- Collaborate closely with the Culinary team to ensure proper timing and coordination of service
- Maintain impeccable dining room presentation, organization, and adherence to club standards
- Assist with staff development, training, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Support banquet and special event dining service as required
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Fine dining: 2 years (Required)
- Supervising: 1 year (Required)
