What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Band Director position at Woodville High School?

Campus: Woodville High School

Education / Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university,

Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsement for assignment

Special Knowledge / Skills:

Knowledge of overall operation of instrumental music program
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Knowledge of state and UIL policies governing band
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
Strong communication, public relations,a nd interpersonal skills

Experience: Three years teaching and band directing experience preferred

Salary: WISD salary schedule, 11 month contract, plus additional stipend
