Jefferson, GA
Full-Time
Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
Woodtec Millwork is seeking an experienced Bench Carpenter / Custom Millwork Fabricator who can step into our shop and consistently produce excellent work.
This is not an entry-level woodworking position.
We are looking for an experienced craftsman who understands custom architectural millwork, can read shop drawings, work accurately and independently, solve problems, and take pride in producing work that meets a high standard.
Technical ability is only part of what we are looking for.
We are intentionally building a workplace where skilled people respect one another, take responsibility for their work, solve problems constructively, and help the entire team succeed. We want someone who will contribute to that culture.
Our Core Values
These values guide how we work and how we treat one another:
- Treat everyone with respect
- Do the right thing, not the easy thing
- Be better tomorrow than you are today
- Be humble
- Add value... always
- Embrace "we," not "me"
These are not slogans. They are the standards we expect from ourselves and from the people we bring onto our team.
What You'll Do
As a Bench Carpenter / Custom Millwork Fabricator, you will fabricate high-quality architectural millwork from shop drawings and specifications.
Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For
We want someone who already knows the craft.

We value craftsmen who make the people around them better.

How Our Values Show Up in the Shop
Treat everyone with respect.
Skill does not excuse disrespect. We expect professional communication with coworkers, supervisors, Project Managers, and everyone else on the team.
Do the right thing, not the easy thing.

Be better tomorrow than you are today.
Even experienced craftsmen can improve. We expect people to learn, adapt, and continue developing their skills.
Be humble.
Take pride in excellent work without believing any task or piece of feedback is beneath you. Admit mistakes, correct them, and move forward.
Add value... always.
Your work should make the project, the shop, and the team better.
