Position Summary
Woodstock Union High School is seeking a JV Girls Lacrosse Coach for the upcoming spring season. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about girls athletics, player development, and fostering a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct daily practices focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Coach and supervise JV girls lacrosse games and competitions
- Support the overall girls lacrosse program in collaboration with the Varsity Coach
- Promote academic achievement, personal growth, and good citizenship among student-athletes
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes
- Communicate effectively with players, families, athletic staff, and school administration
- Adhere to school, district, and Vermont Principals’ Association (VPA) policies
Qualifications
- Prior lacrosse playing and/or coaching experience preferred
- Experience working with high school–aged students strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to model positive behavior and serve as a role model for student-athletes
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of required background check and coaching certifications

Salary : $3,000 - $3,500
