Woodstock Inn Brewery is a busy, family-owned restaurant, brewery, and inn in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our management team.
We're looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working with people, solving problems, and making sure the operation runs well. This is a hands-on management position—not a desk job.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily restaurant operations and service.
- Be a visible, hands-on leader during service.
- Support, coach, and hold servers, hosts, bartenders, and other team members accountable.
- Maintain consistent standards for guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and sidework
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and service recovery.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor the flow and pace of service and step in wherever needed.
- Communicate closely with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and management team.
- Help train and develop new and existing employees.
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily operational needs.
- Address employee issues and performance concerns appropriately and professionally.
- Help identify problems before they become bigger problems.
- Work with the management team to continually improve the guest and employee experience.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has restaurant management or strong supervisory experience, this is not required as we are willing to train the right candidate
- Leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in and help.
- Is comfortable holding people accountable while treating them with respect.
- Can make decisions confidently in a busy environment.
- Communicates clearly with both employees and guests.
- Can stay calm and organized during high-volume service.
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for someone else to solve a problem.
- Enjoys hospitality and genuinely cares about the guest experience.
- Is reliable, professional, and a team player.
