Part time and Full time Available. Hours are 11pm-7am

Duties

• Operate laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and guest garments efficiently and thoroughly.
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results.
• Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special-care items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Follow safety procedures for handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks or guest requests related to linen needs during overnight shifts.
• Stock shelves and housekeeping carts with linen and cleaning supplies
• Assist guests with tasks such as but not limited to: overnight check ins. remaking keys, and monitoring phone calls
• Ensure hotel cleanliness is up to standard

Skills

• Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens are spotless and properly maintained.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good organizational skills for managing laundry loads efficiently and tracking inventory.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and machinery operation.

Requirements

• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one -year hospitality experience in laundry or dry cleaning
• Follows instructions and communicates effectively
• Works well independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to exceptional guest service
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Adheres to the policies and procedures of the hotel

Physical Demands

• Required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of times
• Lift, carry, or otherwise move and use of force or exertion up to 50 lbs.
• Use of manual dexterity of common office equipment; such as but not limited to, computers, printers, phones ect.
