We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Houseman/Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cleaning and maintenance and repair work, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and the public areas of the hotel are clean. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance repairs in the hotel guest rooms and public spaces, as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and cleaning activities
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Clean public area of the hotel; lobby, laundry room, fitness center, vacuum hallway carpets, take out trash
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
