Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Description:
This candidate will be working to support the financial bookkeeping and planning processes at the branch and at company-wide levels. This includes budgets, forecasts, capital planning, and long-term business goals. Example responsibilities include tracking expenses; generating reports on income/expenses and items for quarterly finance meetings; compiling and managing budgets, rates, plans, and goals; etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, management, or finance AND have at least two (2) years of experience in business/financial analysis
- Understanding of direct and indirect cost pools
- Understanding of government contract finances
- Experience with expense tracking and budget management
- Experience or understanding of payroll and taxes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to both work independently and work in a team setting
- Attention to detail and highly organized
Preferred Skills:
- Familiar with Unanet
- Familiar with GovConPay / iSolved
