Duties
- Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear to access difficult or high branches for pruning or removal
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, and shaping to promote healthy growth and prevent hazards
- Use rigging techniques to safely lower large branches or debris during tree removal projects
- Maintain equipment including climbing gear, chainsaws, and trucks while adhering to safety standards
- brush removal and other assignments
Requirements
- Knowledge of tree care practices including pruning, trimming, and removal
- Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe branch removal or tree dismantling
- Excellent physical fitness with the ability to climb trees for extended periods while maintaining safety protocols
