Full-Time Dining Assistant / Housekeeper

This role offers variety throughout the day and provides the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
Dining Services
- Set up and prepare the dining room for meal service.
- Welcome and assist residents during meals.
- Serve meals and beverages in a courteous and professional manner.
- Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables following each meal.
- Assist residents with opening packages, cutting food, and other dining needs as appropriate.
- Encourage and redirect residents with memory loss back to the dining room when appropriate.
- Report residents who miss meals or have changes in appetite to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Communicate resident diet concerns or discrepancies to the cook, supervisor, or person in charge.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, serving areas, and food service equipment.
- Maintain a current Oregon Food Handler Certificate.
General Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and guests.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to support resident care.
- Follow all community policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current Oregon Food Handler Certificate or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Previous experience in dining services, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding service to older adults.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
