POSITION SUMMARY:
Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Provide information regarding activities conducted at establishment; location of departments, offices, and employees within organization.

Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, customers, visitors, and other interested parties. Provide information regarding activities conducted at establishment; location of departments, offices, and employees within organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate multi-line telephone to answer, screen, or transfer calls.
- Receive payment and record receipts.
- Perform administrative support tasks such as transcribing handwritten information, and operating calculators or computers to work with pay records, invoices, balance sheets or other documents
- Greet persons entering the establishment, determine the nature and purpose of their visit, and direct them to specific destinations
- Hear and route complaints from customers and public to appropriate Department Manager
- Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail or fax machine
- Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public
- Provide Marketing information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided
- Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail or messages
- Process and prepare correspondence, packets for assembly and other tasks
- Schedule space and equipment for special programs
- Becomes familiar with the emergency manual and the role this position plays in the processes
- Supports the Mission, Vision, and values of Woodside Senior Communities
- Is knowledgeable of resident rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents/tenants in a safe, secure environment
- Observes care in ensuring the confidentiality of all data, including resident, employee, and operations data as required by HIPAA/HITECH regulations
- Abides by all applicable statutes and regulations through compliance with the Woodside Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program

- One to two years of related office administrative experience strongly desired.
- Experience using a multi system phone line strongly preferred.
