Summer Program ESL Instructor

Woodside Priory School
Portola, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 4/1/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/31/2026

Woodside Priory School seeks a dynamic  English / ESL Instructor for its Summer English Language Institute (ELI), a four-week program serving international students entering Grades 6–9.

The successful candidate will design and deliver curriculum and class sessions that cultivate Priory’s Benedictine values and core learning competencies: critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and resilience.

The ELI is intentionally designed as a small, highly personalized program with approximately 25 students total, allowing for meaningful relationships, individualized feedback, and a high level of academic engagement. Students learn in small, level-based classes (8–12 students) and participate in an immersive experience that integrates academic English development with cultural exploration and experiential learning across Silicon Valley and the Bay Area.

We invest in our educators through collaboration, shared planning, and a commitment to growth mindset and research-based instructional practices. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about working with international students and preparing them for success in U.S. academic environments.
