Key Responsibilities
- Gourmet Execution: Lead the preparation of high-end, seasonal meals with a focus on fresh ingredients and "fine-dining" presentation.
- Allergen Management: Rigorously execute menus for students with complex dietary needs (GF, vegan, nut-free) with 100% accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Chef to develop innovative menus that reflect our community's standards.
Required Qualifications & Compliance
- Experience: 10 years in upscale dining or high-end institutional settings.
- Certification: Current Serv-Safe Manager Certification is required.
- School Safety & Vetting (SB 848/AB 2534): In compliance with California SB 848, all candidates must undergo a rigorous background check. This includes a review of employment records from former employers at the school regarding any history of "egregious misconduct".
- Mandated Reporter (SB 848): This position is designated as a Mandated Reporter. Successful candidates must complete annual mandated reporter and professional boundary training as required by California law.
