What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Woodside Post Acute?
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated full-time Certified Nursing Assistant's to join our growing healthcare team. We are currently hiring for the evening shift with set schedule that includes Saturday or Sunday. CNAs receive a $2/ hour shift differential for Monday-Friday evening shifts, plus we are offering a $3.25/hour shift differential for Saturday and Sunday evening shifts.
The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our residents in a skilled nursing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and assistance with daily activities, medical documentation, and monitoring vital signs.
Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Document resident information accurately.
- Follow resident care plans.
- Engage with residents to promote independence and help them maintain functional abilities with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant license, or the ability to obtain license within 120 days from date of hire, from the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Experience in a skilled nursing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively with nurses and other CNA's as a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.
