SHAWOOD Project Manager

The SHAWOOD Project Manager (PM) will ensure the success of all SHAWOOD communities, from the pre-construction phase through model home design and community opening. The PM’s primary responsibilities include keeping the SHAWOOD communities on schedule, coordinating product development, overseeing model and experience center construction, and ensuring other aspects of the community’s success. This position requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with technical and design experts. Experience in new home architectural design, consultant management, scope of work creation, 3D modeling, and incorporating consumer feedback into new product development is required.
The SHAWOOD Project Manager will take on a significant role in influencing the organization’s culture such that precision, adherence to design standards, and quality measurement become the standard of operations. The ability of the SHAWOOD Project Manager to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver new communities that support and enhance the global SHAWOOD brand will be essential to the success of this role.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the land department in due diligence related to SHAWOOD communities
- Coordinate product development for the SHAWOOD product
- Act as liaison with 3rdparty consultants as required
- Create and manage project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with team members for new community opening-related items (i.e. model design/buildout, experience center, etc.)
- Work with municipalities to obtain product approval and technical SHAWOOD construction approvals.
- Coordinate the SHAWOOD sales and marketing efforts in conjunction with Division and Corporate leadership
- Provide Woodside and Sekisui House team members with regular information and updates
Required Education and Experience
- 3 -5 years of progressive project management responsibility on new home community projects
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree (Project Management, Construction or Business) – preferred
- PMP Certification – highly preferred
