What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houskeeper position at Woodside Dells Hotel?
Housekeeping responsibilities include cleaning rooms, common areas, and pool area, doing laundry, assuring rooms are well supplied for guests, inspecting rooms for any maintenance issues, and preparing the room for incoming guests.
Each team member helps to make a good first impression and assists with keeping guests comfortable during their stay.
Responsibilities
Clean rooms/cabins thoroughly in a timely and efficient manner
Remove soiled linens as needed and replace with fresh linens
Assuring all rooms/cabins are well supplied with towels, shampoos, soaps and other necessities
Returning any items left in rooms to front desk and identifying them so they can be properly returned to their owner
Inspecting rooms for any maintenance issues, such as plumbing leaks, broken items, damaged walls, etc, and reporting appropriately to the front desk.
Requirements
Prior housekeeping experience is a plus, but not needed
Ability to communicate efficiently and in a friendly manner
Work in a timely and efficient manner to clean rooms, especially during busy times when there are multiple rooms to clean in a short amount of time
Ability to communicate effectively and in a friendly manner with guests, co-workers and other staff members
Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
Reliable transportation to and from work

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
