Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and standards.
- Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, specialty cocktails, wine selections, and beer offerings.
- Verify age requirements and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws and Club policies.
- Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system and process payments when applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, sinks, glassware, coolers, and storage areas.
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed.
- Assist servers and other team members to ensure efficient food and beverage service.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or supply needs.
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations.
- Open and close bar areas according to established procedures.
- Maintain professional appearance and adherence to Club dress code standards.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred, preferably in a country club, restaurant, or upscale dining environment.
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes, wine service, and bar operations preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
