Woodside Bible Church is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to serve at our Romeo Campus. This role plays a vital part in creating and maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for worship, ministry, and fellowship. The Custodian will be responsible for the regular cleaning and upkeep of church facilities, as well as assisting with setup and cleanup following services and special events.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all areas of the church facility, including restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces.
Prepare facilities for services and events, ensuring rooms are clean, orderly, and properly set up.
Assist with cleanup following services, weddings, funerals, and other special gatherings.
Restock supplies, empty trash, and report maintenance or repair needs.
Support a culture of excellence and hospitality through consistent, high-quality work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
Positive, servant-hearted attitude with strong attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
Able to safely lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical cleaning tasks.
This role is part-time, hourly, non-exempt, requiring membership and active participation at our Romeo campus. Days are Monday and Friday with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays. For additional details, please see the job description.
