Job Summary
Woods and Water Family Dental is a start-up family-owned dental practice in Cloquet, MN and we are growing! The Care Coordinator is a patient-focused team member responsible for creating a welcoming and organized experience for patients. As one of the first people patients interact with, this role includes greeting patients, answering phones, coordinating appointments, and supporting communication before and after teatment.
The Care Coordinator plays an important role in maintaining an efficient and productive schedule for both the doctor and hygiene team. Responsibilities include assisting with confirming appointments, filling schedule openings, verifying and updating insurance information in Open Dental and helping support the overall flow of the office. Strong organization, attention to detail, strong computer skills, comfortable taking payments and posting to patients accounts and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this role. This role has opportunities for growth. Pay is based on experience, responsibilities and value you bring to the practice.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a productive and efficient doctor and hygiene schedule
- Complete assigned tasks daily consistently and producively requiring focused work
- Organizing documents
- Emailing, faxing, importing, exporting, scanning documents
- Answering phones and scheduling patients while following a set of office standards in how and what information is needed
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards at all times
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with patients and healthcare professionals utilizing both verbal and technology to communicate
- Strong computer skills and the ability to use multiple applications at once
- History of working in dental field preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
