Duties

• Prepare and assemble deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and cold cuts with precision and care
• Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage customer orders with excellent service skills, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Handle cash register operations, processing cash, credit card transactions, and providing correct change
• Assist in upselling products to boost sales and enhance the customer experience
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigeration units to support food preparation
• Support food safety management practices by adhering to proper food handling procedures
• Restock supplies regularly and keep the deli area organized for optimal efficiency
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, offering product recommendations and answering questions about menu items

Requirements

• Previous food service or quick service restaurant experience preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus
• Strong skills in food preparation, food handling, and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Customer service-oriented attitude with a positive approach to teamwork
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or moving carts
