Our purpose is to show guests they are truly valued, the maintenance department does this by having all equipment operating properly and facilities clean, organized and functioning correctly. The Maintenance Director is responsible for maintenance and IT needs for all store locations and departments.
- Classification: Salary Exempt
- Reports To: CEO
- Pay Range: $8588k annually
- Location: Home Office 191 18th Street, Lynden WA (this is not a remote position)

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Maintenance Team: Regularly meet with, evaluate their work, give feedback, and provide direction and coaching.
- Daily organization and prioritization of work orders. Delegating work efficiently to the technician team.
- Oversee and maintain IT hardware and POS systems, continuously evaluating upgrades and working with Square to fix issues and improve systems
- Meet collaboratively with other directors and supervisors to give and receive feedback.
- Complete quarterly in depth reviews of store locations and departments to identify areas of improvement.
- Oversee communication from HO leadership to the technician team so that everyone feels informed and connected.
- Give regular feedback to the leadership team as needed.
- Attend and contribute maintenance related updates to Home Office team meetings.
- Capable of transforming ideas and concepts into task lists and project timelines. Oversee project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Knowledge of industry regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
- Help solve a variety of issues that may arise with strong decision making abilities.
- Maintain, clean, and organize the vehicle fleet.
- Order parts and supplies for projects and repairs.
- Identify preventative measures to limit emergencies, and implement long term solutions.
- Manages and maintains costs and budget for the Maintenance Department.
Requirements:
- Own a cell phone with the ability to call, text, email, and support workrelated applications.
- Work 40 hours a week and accept that responsibilities may fall outside of MF daytime hours.
- Have a vehicle for the purpose of driving to and from locations within your district or otherwise.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve most minor plumbing, electrical, and general equipment issues; mechanically inclined and handson.
Required Permits:
- Valid Driver’s License.
