Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities.
- Follow the classroom daily schedule consistently.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance.
- Observe and document children's progress.
- Encourage learning through play, creativity, and exploration.
- Work collaboratively with management and fellow teachers to provide exceptional care.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
- Minimum of 6 months of licensed childcare experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and actively participate in classroom activities.
