Position:  Registered Nurse at Woodruff Elementary School   

Contract:  185 Days

Salary:  Based on the Nurse Salary Scale

Qualifications

1. Valid South Carolina Registered Nursing License
2. Current CPR Certification
3. Experience in School or Pediatric Setting Preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well being of all students.
2. Provide health services such as administering prescription and non-prescription medications per district policy, assessments, first aid, and emergency care.
3. Coordinates and provides screening services per DHEC guidance.
4. Maintains comprehensive health records of students, including proof of valid South Carolina immunizations.
5. Documents information regarding health room visits electronically.
6. Documents and submits Medicaid billing.
7. Serves as liaison between school and other health agencies.
