About the Role:

Woodrome Medical PA is looking for an experienced Front Desk Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Livingston, TX. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional, friendly manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Answer multi-line phone system, route calls, and respond to patient inquiries
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographics in the EHR system
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
• Ensure front desk area is organized, HIPAA-compliant, and running efficiently
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of front desk experience in a medical office setting
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and basic medical billing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
