(4) hour part-time Custodial Aide Position. Hours 2:30pm-6:30pm, beginning wage $18.62 per hour, 188 day contract, and is a tested position. No benefits.
Heavy lifting is involved. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Position is part of the OAPSE Union Local #544.

QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must possess experience in general cleaning and sanitation. Be diplomatic and tactful in relation to co-workers, students, and the general public. Possess the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The individual in this assignment must discharge all delegated responsibilities in a manner which is consistently in accord with the policies adopted by the Board of Education. Work related to the performance responsibilities listed below may be assigned by his/her supervisor(s) and the appointing authority or its designee. The individual must adhere to the assigned work schedule. It shall include, but not be limited to those tasks listed below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Will do general cleaning and sanitation of the following:

The Board of Education and administration will provide a safe and healthful work environment pursuant to applicable state and federal regulations. The individual in this assignment is expected to follow all safety rules and is to report any concerns with regard to his/her working conditions to his/her immediate supervisor.

- Shall be in good physical condition with no past history of physical limitations precluding heavy lifting and lifting 50 pounds.
- Good health, high moral character, good attendance record.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
- Must be able to use a step ladder at capacity safely.
