Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products
- Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer knowledge and interest
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate the accounting system (QuickBooks) efficiently for transactions, including processing of credit cards
- Customer follow up to ensure everything goes smoothly from sale to final installation
- Ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-organized
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Other duties as assigned
- Typical schedule would be Tuesday - Saturday or Wednesday- Saturday from 9:30 am - 5pm. Some flexibility in weekdays worked but Saturday is our most important day we need coverage.
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales experience is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers and their family members
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required
- Organizational skills and attention to detail experience required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment at times or be a self starter when things are slower
- Knowledge of phone etiquette, customer service principles, and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
