What You’ll Do:
- Install and terminate low-voltage and line-voltage wiring for building automation and controls systems in commercial and industrial buildings
- Install and support conduit (including underground and rigid), cable tray, and panel terminations according to drawings
- Read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan installations in compliance with NEC and local codes
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on commercial systems
- Order, receive, and check project materials, and keep paperwork current
- Follow and promote safe work practices, including job site safety meetings and toolbox talks
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- 3–4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience, including low-voltage work (BAS/DDC wiring, sensors, actuators, network cabling, and panel terminations)
- Iowa Journeyman License preferred or state-registered apprentice with 3 years of experience
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to meet company driving standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
Nice to Have (We’ll Train You):
- HVAC knowledge
- Controls programming and networking (Tridium/Niagara)

Pay: $31.28 - $39.56 per hour
