Outside Areas Cleaner

SUMMARY: This position encompasses maintaining the appearance of outdoor areas by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning hard surfaces. The position operates cleaning equipment

to include but not limited to riding scrubbers, side by side floor machines, leaf blowers, etc. This position answers "quick calls" as required, and this person must always present a professional

appearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

Able to drive and operate a golf cart-type of motorized equipment. (driver's license required)

Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Able to perform repetitive bending and perform duties below the knee.

Able to see dirt and debris on the floor and associated surfaces.

Able to stand and walk on cement 100% of the shift.

Able to operate basic powered lawn equipment.

Able to work in diverse weather conditions.

Must be self-motivated.

Must wear a company issued uniform in accordance with the guidelines of WBM Crown

Center's dress code.

All other cleaning duties that are assigned by WBM or Crown Center management.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the above duties in a fully

satisfactory manner. The education, experience, skills and abilities listed below are representative of the position. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, work orders and memos in English. The ability to legibly write simple correspondence The ability to communicate with supervisors and managers and patrons in the English language (fluent). The ability to communicate effectively and clearly over a radio.

REASONING ABILITY: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardizations exist. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions, furnished in written and oral form.

PHYSICAL ABILITY: Possess the ability to perform hard work for a full 8-hour shift.

Lifting, bending, stretching, pulling and pushing are all required for this position. Must be able to stand, walk and work on a cement floor for the full shift.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver's License.

Able to lift 20 pounds repeatedly and 50 pounds occasionally.

Able to lift a trash brute approximately 4 feet high to dump into a mobile dumpster.

Able to work in diverse weather conditions. (Outside in all seasons)

Able to work with basic cleaning chemicals.
