What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Operations Manager position at Woodley Building Maintenance?
- Assists the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the operational function in Kansas City complex. Directs the nightly cleaning.
- Continually analyzes operational functions and suggests to the Senior Project Manager immediate corrective action when performance deviates from the standard.
- Walks buildings during work shifts to ensure that cleaning standards are being met.
- Interprets and implements approved operational policies, methods, and procedures.
- Develops and trains subordinate supervisors. Appraises their performance and implements action for promotion, transfer, or termination.
- Ensures the proper handling of customer complaints and problems.
- Keeps the Sr. Project Manager informed of serious or repeated problems.
- Develops and maintains plans to ensure that the complaint does not repeat.
- Ensures consistent reporting and feedback of all necessary information with the Senior Project Manager. Maintains a committed working relationship with the Property Management.
- Works with the Trainer to identify cleaners that require additional or more thorough training. Performs on-the-job (OTJ) with new cleaners to ensure they understand and perform to building standards.
- Implements and controls the handling of periodical work orders.
Hours: M-F, 4:30 pm - 1:30 am, Some Mandatory Weekends
Education, Certification, and Experience:
- 3 years of commercial cleaning experience or related industry.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand and walk on cement the entire shift.
