Job Summary
The RN Risk Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the facilities risk management program.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the Risk Management Committee: Coordinate the gathering and analysis of data; monitor and facilitate plans of correction and preventative measures; ensure corporate compliance; and coordinate investigations regarding occurrences.
- Communication/Education: Communicate all aspects of risk management to residents, families, staff, and management.
- Ensure confidentiality of all reporting and documentation elements.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 2 years of DON or ADON experience within long term care.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evening, night, and weekend hours.
