Responsibilities:
- Conduct neurofeedback sessions with clients using state-of-the-art equipment and software.
- Collect EEG recordings of clients.
- Prepare clients for neurofeedback sessions, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the process.
- Operate and maintain neurofeedback equipment, ensuring its functionality and cleanliness.
- Monitor and record clients' physiological responses during sessions, adjusting parameters as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to set goals and track progress throughout their neurofeedback training program.
- Analyze session data to make informed adjustments to clients' neurofeedback protocols.
- Educate clients on the principles of neurofeedback, brain health, and stress management.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in neurofeedback technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field
- Certification in Neurofeedback or Biofeedback is not necessary but would be a plus (BCIA certification preferred).
- Previous experience as a Neurofeedback Technician or similar role is not necessary but would be a plus
- Strong understanding of brainwave patterns, biofeedback principles, and neurophysiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven adjustments.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach when working with clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients' progress.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the field.
