About Us:
Woodlands Forest School is a fully accredited and innovative nature-based private school nestled in a vibrant wooded campus in The Woodlands, Texas. We believe children thrive when their education is rooted in curiosity, connection, and the natural world. - Incorporate outdoor learning, nature immersion, and project-based learning into daily and weekly rhythms.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that fosters emotional safety, community, and mutual respect.
- Observe, document, and assess student growth—academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Maintain regular, meaningful communication with families to support each child’s development.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and administrators to shape a vibrant, responsive curriculum.
- Actively participate in school-wide events, professional development, and community-building efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required; teaching certification preferred.
- 2 years of classroom experience, ideally in lower elementary or multi-age settings.
- Commitment to outdoor education in all weather and a comfort with teaching outside daily.
- A passion for inquiry-based instruction, and whole-child development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A growth mindset, deep patience, and a sense of joy.
