Practice times: 3:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Meet Days: 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
SALARY RANGE: Stipend Position: $2044.86 for the season

Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Submits application for Administrative Review
- Obtains administrative approval to fill the position
- Meets with the administration and reviews Performance Responsibilities for the position
- Signs "Performance Responsibilities Acknowledgment" for the position
- Acts as a liaison between the administration and the organization
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of the Athletic Program approved by Woodland School
- Possesses a knowledge of existing school, conference and state regulations and implements consistency in interpreting such
- Conducts tryouts yearly to select a team
- Establishes, in conjunction with the administration, meetings and activities for the organization
- Attends all meetings and sponsored activities
- Maintains positive relations with parents and fans
- Provides team members and parents with practice and game schedules, directions for away games, eligibility requirements
- Establishes a line of command within the organization
- Prepares students to represent the school in an effort to provide spirit, enthusiasm and interest relating to the activity
- Maintains policy, in conjunction with the administration, which reflects school values and as an avenue of public relations
- Teaches the fundamentals, rules, strategies and basic skills of the sport so the athlete will realize a degree of individual and team success
- Promotes accepted warm-up, stretching and safety techniques associated with the activity
- Teaches self discipline, responsibility, teamwork, character, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self confidence and sportsmanship
- Provides adequate supervision at all times to insure the safety of students during activities whether in school or at outside school activities
- Assures enforcement of all school rules and regulations at activities
- Supervises students at games and on the bus and develops a roster sheet so parents can sign their children out if the parents take them home from away games
- Ensures all students have a ride home and provides supervision until all students have left the activity
- Enforces "no play or practice rule" for those students who do not have signed parental permission slips, do not have physicals on file in the office, have not paid the Participation Fee, are not academically eligible or were absent from school on the day of the activity
- Gains administrative approval for any fundraisers
- Collects and deposits any money as stipulated by the administration, Building and District Policy and Procedures
- Exercises careful supervision over all student operated projects, student personnel, clean up and money collection for which the organization is responsible
- Accountable for distribution and collection of uniforms and cost of any equipment lost or not returned
- Submits, at the end of the season, inventory of equipment and uniforms to the Athletic Director
- Ensures a Medicine kit is always available at practice and games
- Notifies designated administrator and/or building nurse in the event of a student accident or illness
- Directs student managers, statisticians and assistants (if applicable)
- Provides information in a timely manner as and when requested by the Athletic Director and/or the designated building administrator
- Accepts responsibility for the quality, effectiveness and validity of any oral or written release to the local media
- Presents a written report upon completion of the activities of the organization, to the designated administrator reviewing the year. (include, but not limited to, the number of students involved, activities, successes and areas for improvement)
- Performs any additional duties necessary to run the program
- Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality.
