Automotive Lube Technician

Job Summary
As a Lube Technician, you will perform essential, routine maintenance—including oil changes, tire rotations, and comprehensive multi-point inspections—across the entire portfolio of General Motors brands (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac). This is an entry-level role with opportunity for growth, and a clear path to becoming a certified GM Master Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes on GM and non-GM vehicles
• Rotate and balance tires
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
• Check and top off all vehicle fluids
• Replace engine and cabin air filters
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and other basic vehicle components
• Install wiper blades, bulbs, and batteries as needed
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Recommend additional maintenance or repairs based on inspection results
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Properly use dealership equipment, tools, and diagnostic technology
• Follow all General Motors service procedures and dealership policies
• Conduct video walkarounds to be shown to the guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous automotive maintenance experience is preferred but not required
• Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required
