Position:Teaching Assistant (Long Term Substitute)
Location:Woodland Elementary School
Schedule:October 15, 2026 – April 16, 2027 (Hours 8:15 – 2:45)

To Start:October 15, 2026
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred;
Experience working with students with and without disabilities;
Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom;
Experience working with English Language Learners
Bilingual preferred
CPI training preferred
Responsibilities:
•Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers, and classroom teachers;
•Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher;
•Communicate and collaborate with teachers;
•Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting;
•Ability to modify curriculum;
•Maintain confidential information;
•Collect data on student performance as needed;
•Assist students with daily living/self-help skills;
•Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and
•Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.
