We are a leading healthcare organization specializing in providing exceptional care to our residents. With a strong commitment to our staff and residents, we are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to oversee our HR and Payroll within our nursing home in Tolland, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of both our residents and our dedicated staff.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee HR operations for our nursing home facility in Tolland, CT ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for nursing and administrative staff.

- Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

- Collaborate with leadership to address employee relations, performance management, and training needs.

- Act as a liaison between staff and management to address concerns and improve overall employee satisfaction.

-Process Payroll on a weekly basis, and ensure facility is following state and federal state regulations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in HR management or related field.

- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within the healthcare industry.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Connecticut.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
