About the Role:

As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals for our patients and residents. This will include meal planning, food preparation, and presentation, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in meeting the dietary needs of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for patients and residents, including special diets and tray service

• Plan and implement menu ideas and recipes that meet the dietary needs of our patients and residents

• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

• Assist with food ordering and inventory management

• Collaborate with other members of the Food Service team to ensure smooth operation of the department

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient and resident experience
