Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Starting Wage: $15.00
Duties-
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages- Clean and maintain kitchen stations following food safety standards- Assist with inventory management and storage of food items
Qualifications-
Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred- Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices- Understanding of food safety guidelines- Ability to work well in a team setting- Experience in a restaurant or fine dining establishment is a plus- Familiarity with dietary aide responsibilities is beneficial- Proficiency in food handling and meal preparation techniques
