Position Overview: The Assembler is responsible for assembling pre-hung door units in accordance with customer specifications and established company safety and quality standards.

• Reviews and follows work orders to ensure doors are built to the correct customer specifications
• Thoroughly inspect all finished products for defects or irregularities and touch-up as necessary
• Performs production line tasks
• Maintains clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
• Communicates with fellow employees to ensure safe and smooth operations of the assembly line
• Other duties as described by manager

• High school diploma or GED required. Experience working in a warehouse setting preferred
• Ability to carefully follow directions
• Ability to use manufacturing tools/machinery (chop saw, door machine, router, nail gun, etc.)
• Forklift certification (depending upon branch requirements)
• Familiarity with door components and assembly techniques preferred

Exceptional finger and manual dexterity required to successfully perform required tasks, including the ability to frequently lift up to 85 pounds and/or pushing 100 pounds, bend, crouch, stand, and sit for long durations.
