Description:
As an Accountant, this individual is responsible for providing support primarily related to the accounting and settlement operations of the organization. This includes routine accounting and clerical tasks, and the preparation, distribution, and storage of electronic and paper business documents and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepares ACH return reports for merchant acquiring division.
· Works daily return codes with internal and external departments by requesting more information from agent or client.
· Resolves merchant DDA issues such as bank changes and incorrect set ups.
· Place accounts on hold as well as release funds back to the merchant.
· Provide monthly metrics to management for returned items.
· Assist with compiling reports and support for financial analysts on ad hoc projects.
· Reconcile equipment and other 3rd party invoices to the GL and DDA.
· Prepare automated reports utilizing department software providing analysis for departments and Executive Management team.
· Perform other job related duties or special projects as assigned

· Solid technology and internet skills, including strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
· Banking/Finance experience preferred.
Formal Education & Certification:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or a combination of education and experience.
